Scott Kirkwood's 'AJAX Brings SOA to the User' session was crowded on Day One, as was Kurt Cagle's session on 'Data and Syndicated Oriented Architecture (SynOA),' and Ian Tomlin's session 'Code Free Composition - Where SOA and Mashups Converge' was another hit.
Kirkwood, VP of MomentumSI's Software Development Services practice, explained to delegates in the historic Roosevelt Hotel in midtown Manhattan how AJAX-based technologies enable enterprises to fully realize their SOA vision through what he called "Rich Enterprise Applications" (REAs) deployed at the forefront of business.
