The SOA Forum, the world's largest SOA organization for IT executives, announced today that Thomson Financial Chief Architect Ian Koenig will speak at the organization's next webinar, scheduled for March 6, 2008 at 2pm Eastern. The latest in a series of ongoing educational webinars organized by the SOA Forum, this event is intended to foster good knowledge sharing among the Forum's 1,600 members, to help increase the odds for successful SOA deployments.
During the live, one-hour session, Koenig will share how Thomson's IT group undertook a bold effort to re-architect the company's flagship product, Thomson ONE Web, using the principals of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) -- believing that SOA would help improve agility of both the IT group and the company overall.
