There is a new version of the Quality Center software due later this month that builds on the TestDirector testing suite acquired with the purchase of Mercury Interactive, back in July 2006. HP has been tweaking this testing suite so that its quality control capabilities work just as well for quality assurance in the SOA world as they have in more traditional, client-server scenarios.
Then in May HP will launch a new version, version 3, of the HP SOA Systinet registry/repository that helps enterprises discover, understand, and govern SOA services. The latest version will improve Systinet's capabilities in change management and version control, as well as bringing various other enhancements.
