Microsoft Presence Sample for Smart Clients Using Office Communicator Web Access AJAX Services (msi)
This set of samples illustrate how to provide presence, instant messaging, and additional enhanced functionality in a rich client application by leveraging the Office Communicator Web Access AJAX Service. Presence functionality is easily integrated into a smart client application using the Communicator Web Access AJAX service and Presence Controls built especially for use with this service. This demonstration shows how you can: Build a custom dialog for the user to enter their password and authenticate with the CWA AJAX Service. Add the PersonaAJAX control, a single gum drop presence control that provides presence information and a context menu. Add the PersonaPanelAJAX control to display a presence-enabled list of contacts. This download includes a fully functional sample application with source code, Hands on Lab, and supporting documentation. The sample application and Hands on Lab are provided in both C# and Visual Basic .NET. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
