When to Buy, When to Build Composite Applications and SOA

With service-oriented architecture (SOA), Ajax, the enterprise service bus and other new technologies maturing, application architects and business analysts have tough decisions to make about whether to buy packaged applications, build them, or more likely, do some combination.
