Matt Quinn, SVP of product strategy for TIBCO Software, contends that many companies with large SOA deployments face two major challenges: how to promote service reuse and how to manage the complexity of a heterogeneous, distributed SOA that includes Java, .NET, and various legacy and packaged applications deployed across the enterprise.
"The solution," Quinn explains, "is to implement service virtualization to make services portable and protocol independent."
2007 Conference & Expo, June 25-27 2007, New York City. The session will cover the different architectural components of service virtualization – mediation, deployment, governance and service management – and the standards that make service virtualization possible.
