John Footen, NTC's Director of Software Systems Engineering, will present a groundbreaking paper exploring the crucial topics of Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA’s), Business Process Management (BPM), and Web services in Professional Media Systems during the technical sessions of the 2007 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference, scheduled for April 14-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Footen’s paper will be presented on Wednesday, April 18th at 4pm in Room S226/227 as part of the NAB Broadcast Engineering Conference’s “Workflow and Interoperability for Television” sessions. File-Based technologies are becoming ever-more pervasive throughout the production, post-production, and distribution systems so vital to the Media and Entertainment industry. Although these technologies provides many important benefits, they also present new technical and operational challenges for media professionals seeking to make the most of these revolutionary new advances.
