Systinet, the leading software provider of the foundation for SOA governance and lifecycle management, today announced that it has joined the Association for Enterprise Integration (AFEI), a non-profit defense industry association focused on enterprise integration best practices in industry and government. The partnership further solidifies Systinet's expansion within the government sector, including numerous Federal customers and partnerships.
The AFEI has recently partnered with the Department of Defense (DoD) CIO Office and leading industry companies to develop a plan addressing issues critical to the evolution of the DoD Enterprise Information Environment Mission Area, which is one of the four areas that make up the DoD's Global Information Grid, the overarching architecture for the DoD's business systems modernization. The AFEI will host a specific series of events and working groups focused on enterprise services in the context of a DoD service-oriented architecture (SOA).
