Amazon.com continues expanding its Web services reach. The company, which recently released tools to developers for its Web sites in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan and Germany, is adding Canada and France to this list.
Developers can now design Web applications for all six Amazon sites. Developers will be given free documentation, code samples and sample applications. Developers will be able to earn a referral fee whenever users of their applications make purchases on any Amazon site, the company said.
