Loosely Coupled,
the leading specialist website for early adopters of enterprise
service-oriented architecture (SOA), today issued its SOA Management 2005
Report, the technology industry's first report to evaluate in detail all of
the leading vendors of web services management software.
With fewer than 80 significant projects in production worldwide and a
total market value below $60 million last year, SOA management has excited
far more hype than solid adoption. But with one third of those projects at
Fortune 500 companies and market value expected to rocket this year towards
$200 million, perhaps the excitement is justified after all.
The report provides detailed evaluations of 14 SOA management vendors and
ranks them into four groups: Leaders, Challengers, Heavyweights, Noteworthy.
Ranking criteria include product functionality, future technology roadmap,
current customer deployments and business strategy.
