Scott Kosch has more than 10 years experience in corporate development, strategic planning, and fundraising across
many industries, including software, IT, and telecommunications.
For the past several years in his role as managing director of Highlands Advisors, he has established new business
operations for an emergency notification service company, led the strategic planning and fundraising for an enterprise
software company, and conducted due diligence for a venture capital firm on future investments.
Earlier in his career he was the CEO of Los Angeles-based Artfulstyle, Inc., a premier retailer for art buyers,
interior designers and artists. He grew the company and sold it to a private investor group. Mr. Kosch also served
as Vice President of Business Development for MUSICVIDEOS.COM, where his efforts led to the acquisition of the company
by Launch Media, which was later acquired by Yahoo. He also has served as Senior Associate for Montgomery & Associates,
providing strategic counsel to clients in telecommunications, information technology and media industries; Senior
Associate for Enertech Capital Partners, a $250MM venture capital fund; and Senior Analyst for Theodore Barry & Associates,
providing counsel to the electric utility industry on operations improvement, capital budget allocation and competitive
strategies related to deregulation and diversification.
He graduated magna cum laude from Claremont McKenna College with a bachelor of arts in economics and psychology and
earned his master in business administration in private equity finance from The Wharton School at the University of
Pennsylvania.
